Although, the story is what keeps the audience on the edge of their seats, it’s the music that creates that tension. Theme and Variation, contrast, and Mirroring are what bring those feelings Center stage. The role of a film composer is to make the story come to life and guide them from beginning to end; to make people forget they are watching a movie and feel as though they are in it. To feel connected to the characters so much that they see themselves in them, to feel inspired that they can be a hero, experience the really good love, and go out and write their own story. If a career, others are quick to call unrealistic, can leave such a huge impact on one person, then i want to be a part of that, more than anything.
